The scent really is not that strong, now maybe if you have a super sensitive nose, then yea… if not, it smells fine. A little goes a long way with these oils. So the value for money is there, in my opinion. Today is day 3 and normally after my was days on day 2 or 3, my scalp is already itchy, and my front hair line starts to scab up. I have a very sensitive scalp, like most of us black women, I had relaxers all my life, until 10yrs ago. I started my natural hair journey. Man it’s been a rough one. I was STILL trying to find an oil that made my scalp feel great and wasn’t too greasy (I mean it’s oil y’all, it’s supposed to be… greasy, duh) or weighed my hair down, or that would irritate my scalp by day 3 of wash day. This oil has done all those and above. My scalp is NOT itchy, my hair does not feel yucky to touch because the oil is in it. And it’s made my natural hair manageable!! I’m excited see what a month of this oil will do. I hope that by 8/21/22 I won’t have a negative review to put on here.

Both oils are great! I used the Yellow Bottle in my shampoo and on my wet hair like the box says to do, then the White Bottle on my scalp & throughout my hair, again like the box says…

This product works and I would not post false claims. The smell is overbearing and yes it’s greasy. That’s one thing I don’t like with any product, because my scalp itches when I use grease or oils. So, my bio for this product:
I have had this product for about two months and I was eager to use it. I hear damaged my hair by flat ironing my natural hair, plus the humidity in the South (and the sun) also helped damage my hair. So I’m January I cut it all off (the big chop) and started over. My hair was past my shoulders so I was sad. I applied this stuff to my hair 3 days a week. The oil made me itchy, especially my face and skin. I may of had an allergy to one of the ingredients, however I kept using it.
After two months no lie my hair when stretched out is longer, it’s on my back almost. My hair is so thick, thicker than it’s ever been. I e always had thick hair but this is thicker than I ever had it. My curls are well defined and they actually spiral now. My roots are so straight and healthy and no more split ends. I did use olive oil once a week, Paul Mitchell’s “Super Skiny” and protein treatments, along with drinking aloe Vera juice. So maybe all this contributed, however I have significant hair growth. Maybe in 6 months it will reach my shoulders again. Give it a try it worked for me.

Just looking at the ingredients on the side of the bottle, I would have never thought that it would make my hair feel as nice as it does. Mind you, you can't just throw it in willy-nilly and expect your hair to grow a foot overnight. I have to moisten my hair a little bit with a mixture of glycerin, aloe, and water, then apply the Wild Hair Growth to my scalp and rub it in. I have to take my time and apply it evenly and with care, or else I risk putting too much and it can build up really easily. If I'm in a rush I just put in the light version and keep going. I've been natural for more than a year and this product does assist in strengthening and softening the hair. Even my sister who has likened my hair to steel wool, noticed that my hair is much softer than it was before. I also noticed that it seemed like my hair grew faster, but I can't really say because I wasn't measuring. All I know is that before using it, I grabbed a hair from my crown and tried to put it in my mouth (don't judge me!), it didn't reach. I used this product for perhaps almost a month, and it reached with ease.

Some people say that the product has a gross smell. I don't think it's a huge deal; it's like a...herbal smell, and it seems to dissipate well enough (or I think it does), and no one looks at me odd when I use it, so I'll deal with it. It's not as if it smells like sewage or anything!

The product itself is amazing, but you have to give yourself and your hair the time and patience to work it though your scalp, and be sure to not use too much. If your hair is kinkier (which mine is), you can get away with using more, but you can still put too much, and that's no good.

I could not recommend this product more. I’m a white guy with super tight curls. This has significantly helped my hair stop thinning. I mix a little bit of this in with my shampoo and helps my curls not dry out from shampoo. I shampoo maybe every other day. I will use this with my conditioner and sometimes just as a conditioner alone. When I rinse with the warm water it helps dilute some of the hair ointment and lock the curls together. I get lots of compliments on my hair, people ask me what I use and I show them this.

Good Product! I used to be able to purchase this product locally at Sally's Beauty, but they stopped carrying it for some odd reason when an employee claimed it was a top seller. This oil helped me to grow back my daughter's edges after she pulled them out. It helped to keep her hair moisturized as well. I normally alternate between this light one and the original in the white bottle. The only down side to this product would be the smell. It has a strong herbal scent due to all the natural oils. The scent is very potent but over time it goes away or maybe I've just gotten used to it.

I bought this in February out of desperation. Thyroid issues has had an unfortunate impact on my hair. It has thinned so much in the past 2 yrs. Read reviews and decided to buy.
I liked that it had natural oils. The price was super reasonable which had me very satisfied! Once i received wild growth, I started using it immediately. By the end of March I could see a difference! One thing I see is less fall out during my daily brushes. Second ( best news )thing I noticed new growth on my edges! Im dedinateky buying again!
I use it 3 times a week. I wash my hair and let it air dry unti its barely damp. I squeeze this in my hair as if it's hair dye. Love the bottle tip just for this and not all of it shoots out at once either! Once I covered my scalp, I brush my hair with a brush. I brush to do 2 things.
1. To distribute the oil throughout all my hair and make sure its truly all over my scalp
2. To increase blood flow to the scalp.
So with said get a nice hard brush that gets to your scalp. Like a denman styling brush or a good natural bridle brush. I leave this one my scalp until the next washing. Usually 2 days later. So I leave it on that day, the day after application, then wash the next day. And then repeat the process. This stuff is amazing. Not too heavy for my thinning hair. Doesnt make it look oily. It makes it have a healthy shine and it has a great smell to it!
