I got this oil on August 15, and I see a difference now on October 25. I do have PCOS so I wanted to give this enough time to see if it would work. I gave myself about two months to see if this would work and it did. Here’s what I think !!
Consistency: it’s quite thick, I rec using it when you know you can let it soak into your scalp and hair so that you can wash it off later in the day.
Smell: there’s a slight herby smell almost like olive oil but that’s to be expected, it didn’t bother me personally.
Hair growth: I’ve had quite some thinning hair near my temples as well as the sides of my head. I started using this once a week for the first month and then increased to twice a week in the second month. It took two months to see some baby hairs growing and I’m super happy with the results! I no longer see just pure scalp when I come my hair back.

At first I hated it.... I put a thin layer throughout my scalp and slept with it on. It is very oily and will weigh you hair down. I have thin, straight, fine, limp hair so I cannot use this like directed as a smoother or to style with it. When I washed it out in the shower it would not come out, it stayed wet and oily looking, so I washed it in the sink a second time with a pert plus type shampoo and it came out. My hair was more fuller and easier to style and very soft, so I don't recommend using conditioner after you wash it out (may have to wash twice like I did) I do think it will work to get my hair fuller as time goes on, even though I will have to use it as a leave in over night treatment and wash it twice it'll be worth it to have more manageable fuller hair!

I used this oil in a homemade hair growth oil (I mixed it with eucalyptus, JBCO, peppermint, and tea tree oils), and when I tell you THE GROWTH, CHILE. It can also be used for sealing moisture into your quarantine low-tension protective styles or oiling your scalp. Personally, I have used it for the latter. In tandem with proper hair care techniques, this product helps your type 4 hair grow like a weed. I put my type 4 hair into braids and oiled my scalp at least every other day with my mixture (while moisturizing the length of my hair with a grapeseed-almond-oil mixture as a sealant). I would moisturize once daily, and oil my scalp twice a day (sometimes I got lazy), but do not forget to WEAR A BONNET TO BED. This oil is thick and will show up on your sheets! My hair is now two inches longer, and wayyyy thicker, after following this regimen for a full month.

What can I say?? It makes you hair grow, most definitely? My edges were sparse from years of hair relaxing, but with frequent use, I noticed more "coverage". It's thick, stinky, messy...but it works. My pillow case gets stained and is scented with it, even after laundering. I will suggest not to mix this with castor oil! It created an extra thickened, globulous mess!

Does not smell great , but It works for me. With continued use my hair becomes thicker. When I don’t use the product for some time, I can see the difference in my hair. If you can get past the smell this is worth a try . Also helps fill my edges. For the price, it’s a great oil. I see so many for $20 and up. I personally would try this one first.
