I have thin, straight, fine, limp hair so I cannot use this like directed as a smoother or to style with it. When I washed it out in the shower it would not come out, it stayed wet and oily looking, so I washed it in the sink a second time with a pert plus type shampoo and it came out. My hair was more fuller and easier to style and very soft, so I don't recommend using conditioner after you wash it out (may have to wash twice like I did) I do think it will work to get my hair fuller as time goes on, even though I will have to use it as a leave in over night treatment and wash it twice it'll be worth it to have more manageable fuller hair!
