Natural Hair

Wild Growth Oils are for natural untreated hair but also works well with chemically treated hair. It is not only good for general African quality hair, but any hair type that tends to go frizzy, tangled and overall unruly and unhealthy. Wild Growth Oils are for growth but also softer, silkier, kink free, frizz-free more manageable hair with more body, bounce and sway. Wild Growth Hair Oil is the retexturizer which works its magic on natural hair. It is not required daily and is also good for doing and undoing braids because of good grab factor. Wild Growth Light Oil Moisturizer also great for natural hair, for growth as well, will hold moisture longer, but, if necessary, can be used daily without build up, keeping the head fresh, moisturized and lubricated. Very good for maintaining protective styles too.


Because Wild Growth Hair Oil works so well on natural hair, It also works well with relaxers and perms. Here is how: the new growth will be made so soft and frizz free that relaxer and perm appointments will be stretched and, therefore beautiful hair with less frequent exposure to chemicals. Wild Growth Hair Oil is such a powerful texturizer, that many can easily transition from perms and relaxers altogether.


Summary of difference between both WG products (both for natural and chemically treated African and non African hair) and purposes and methods of using them together.

Use WG Light Oil Moisturizer for mixing in with shampoo or co-wash and as stand alone leave in conditioner or mixed in with another leave in conditioner. Also can mix with WG Hair Oil on damp (not wet) towel dry hair or dry hair.

Both products have the same growth strength. But the growth bonus with WG Light Oil Moisturizer is that you can deep seed for growth while removing scalp debris during shampoo and offers extra breakage protection when used as a leave in conditioner in wet hair so that it won't crack when it dries. WG Hair Oil does not play in that wet hair environment because hair will get sticky and gummy.

The WG Hair Oil is THE texturizer for de-tangled, de-kinked, de-frizzed, flowing, bouncing, silky and swaying natural hair. It can be used as much as three times per week (or more, depending on hair texture) on dry ( or just damp, towel dried) hair. It will tame and soften new growth so it will stretch a relaxer or perm. It will also allow for an easy transition from chemically treated hair. If someone finds WG Hair Oil too heavy for using frequently to keep the head continually moisturized (RULE OF FINGER: there should always just a bit of shine on the finger when one touches their scalp), then the WG Light Oil Moisturizer comes in handy because it is light and holds moisture longer without buildup. One can alternate and use both products separately, or can mix them together and can experiment to find the magic proportion that works best.

For Braids, WG hair Oil is great for doing and undoing braids because it has good grab factor. But for daily maintenance, WG Light Oil Moisturizer will control flaking, build- up, odor and dryness while protecting the hair strands from cutting each other with maximum lubrication.

For the qualities mention above, one can mix both products together to merge the features when used on dry or damp (towel dried) hair.

Non-African Hair can also benefit from the non-growth qualities (All hair types benefit from the growth qualities of these products) of both Wild Growth Hair Oil and Wild Growth Light Oil Moisturizer.

Though Wild Growth Hair Oil is a heavy oil, applied on damp, towel-dried hair in very small quantities, it can get rid of frizz, fly away and or under-bodied non-African quality hair found among Caucasian, Asian, Indian, Native American, Spanish or other hair types. Wild Growth Light Oil Moisturizer, though applicable in small quantities at any time on non-African Quality hair,  will always benefits as an addition to a shampoo when mixed in with it. Also, it will prevent breakage when used as a leave-in conditioner. Even in such applications, less amounts are recommended for non-African Quality hair.

I been natural for 3 years, off and on keeping my hair braided well last year in December I had got a sew in done and my edges where braided very tightly but I didn’t really think nothing of it soo in January, I decided too take my sew in out

well a friend recommended it to me because my hair started to break off really bad. So when ever I get a sew in or wear a wig  I’ll put this on over my braids. Yes! Yes! Yes! That’s the answer to anyone who asks me if they need this product. You do! After you big chop your hair most of us just want our length  back & this product will help, fast. For me, WGHO helped me to retain length...I saw less breakage and my hair seemed thicker...I used both oils (white & yellow bottle) together because one is lighter than the other...YOU HAVE TO do this if you want to see the  growth. This is my favorite hair oil! I love everything about it. It makes my hair soft and actually works  on my scalp. I don't have to reapply a second time nor does it make my scalp feel dry. It is a little thicker in

I LOVE this product. I have used Wild Growth since the 1980s. It works well for keeping my scalp and hair hydrated  when wearing  braids. I have thick hair and a little goes a long way. I no longer use a chemical relaxer in my hair, but when I did, I found the regular formula too heavy for my hair and opted to use the light formula. In my experience, I had better results with hair growth and thickening using the regular formula as opposed to the light formula. I now wear my hair natural and apply the regular formula to my scalp 3 times a week (I part my hair in six rows from front to back and apply directly to scalp- it's best to use towel around shoulders when applying the product because it tends to run quickly). If you workout or your scalp sweats a lot (like mine) you will need to wash your hair more often when using this product, to reduce build-up and an unpleasant scent. Although it is not listed in the ingredients on the bottle, if you use or are familiar with essential oils, you'll find that the scent of Tea Tree oil rings through heavily in this product. The product is great for re-growing  edges damaged from wearing tight braided styles and updoes. The product will drip so it is important to massage through scalp and hair immediately after applying. I prefer to apply to my hair during hours when I'm awake to allow the hair to soak up the oil. Over the years I've found that when I applied to my hair at night, the product left oily stains on my pillowcases (even-though I sleep in a silk scarf). The product will leave your hair looking shiny and well nourished.

The Best Hair Oil Out Today

Pros: grows hair fast.

Cons: the smell is not pleasant but can be fixed.


" I have used this oil before in the past like in 2014, which was the very first time I've used this oil. I was going natural and wanting to grow my hair

 out fast. After looking at YouTube ladies reviewing this oil, I definitely was trying this oil. After trying it, it was the best decision I had ever made.

 My hair's length was to the scalp in Sept. of 2014, by the end of Dec 2014, my hair had already grown out to 2-3 inches, no lie. I am still using this

 stuff because I am never going without it. My hair is shoulder length now and still growing. I am a smoker and trying to quit, this oil is still growing

 my hair out  fast. I know when I completely stop smoking, my hair will be growing even faster. People, this oil is no joke. It works on growing your

 hair. My recommendation about this oil is to use it lightly. A little bit can go a long way. There's (no) need to oil your hair every day, only if you 

have dry  hair. I use this stuff on my hair probably like twice a week, one time a day. Everybody is different, so using this oil is really up the

person  who is  using the oil and their hair routine.You can also mix this oil with other oils too. I have this oil in my water and in my conditioner and

in my shampoo.

To me and my personal opinion, this oil is super great and has helped my hair grow fast. I even gave a friend of mine a free bottle of this oil. She

 doesn't have to tell me jack because I know it is working on her head and her kid's heads. I love this oil and would recommend this oil to anyone

 whose balding even men can use it too, and to anyone who just wants long hair, period. It works. Also people, this oil is cheaper at Sally Beauty, I

 swear. I use to buy this oil from Amazon, but everyone is charging an arm and a leg. I stick with Sally Beauty because I have a saving account or

 their value card to use on the discount items online. Sally Beauty sells this stuff cheaper than any other place. I have brought 4 bottle from them

 and planning on buying some more from SB. This oil will last more than a month, if you use it right, meaning don't use so much of it at one time.

Use after washes and mix with your conditioners. This oil well I know for a fact it works very well on my hair. This oil works for real. SB sells it

 cheaper online from their site. Real natural hair oil and at a great price at Sally Beauty. "

Hello. My name is NeVonn. I've been using your products since mid April 2015 as I had discovered I had some

 bad alopecia. I had a huge bald spot on the top of my head. After cutting all of my hair off and using your

products I am able to now wear my natural hair without any real trace of the bald spots. I've included a picture

 from may to June of 2015 just to show some of how amazing your product has been. I won't use  anything else!

 The smell is worth the results! Thank you thank you!

I used Blue Magic Castor Oil Grease and my hair started coming out in the comb a few days later. It was hard and crunchy. I bought Wild Growth Oil from Sally's and it's greasy, but my hair is soft and stopped breaking. It's very soft. I have 4C probably 4Z hair. Castor oil and coconut oil by themselves make my hair very hard.

 Love this stuff ... The green one works real well... I'm transitioning to natural myself ... So when I braid down for a weave I put this oil in the parts .. And down the length and ends of the braid ... Then cover with a wig cap... Blow dry , to open up the cuticle that way the oil gets to where it needs to .. I dyed my hair burgandy
before I decided to go natural .. So I can see my roots black and it's only been almost 2 weeks.... Plus it works good on nails helps them grow fast , especially if you already have a full set of acrylic or gel nails definitely has and I use it on my eyebrows... GETCHUSOME

 It is very healthy for your hair. I have been using it for 2 months now and I have  dread locs. I love this product and I will be using it from now on.  It does exactly what it says it does, no matter what  hair type or how bad off your hair is... This product grows your hair back beautifully! !!

Two reasons I purchased this product:
1) I have recently decided to stop getting relaxers because i noticed it was thinning and weakening my hair.
2) Ever since i was a child my hair  in the temple area  has been thin and would never grow thick.

Some background on my hair:
I'm a black woman currently transitioning and I believe my hair type is 4a/4b.

I started using this product on my hair a few months ago and i swear by it! my hair is softer, thicker, and i have noticed significant hair growth. My trouble area (the temple area on my head) is actually growing out! I noticed a lot of people complaining about the smell as well They are definitely being dramatic the smell isn't bad at all. Oh! I've also noticed my nails growing like crazy because of me applying this oil. I also apply this oil to my eyebrows and they're a lot thicker. This product is just plain amazing I highly recommend it.

Comments: I had ordered a box of 12 bottles once...before ever trying it :-( I gave away 11 of the bottles, anticipating great reviews.. they never go back to me.. however the one bottle I had left...it really softened my daughter's natural hair for cornrow styles. I'm ready to try it on myself now.

I'm AA and have been using this for about a week and a half. I don't mind the smell at all. It just has a natural herbal smell that can be tolerated. It's not too oily for me either because when I put it into my hair and scalp they absorb it so quickly it's ridiculous. So I use it every two days to keep my hair soft and moisturized. As far as growth, I really think it's true that it works because I felt some new growth today, I thought to myself no-way, I refuse to believe it so I will give it some more time and then do a length check. I will give an update after about a month just to make sure that it is this oil that's working.

This oil is phenomenal. I have seen so much improvement in the progress of my hair. I would not give it 5 stars if it was just mediocre. Love love this oil. It's definitely a growth oil. Coming from an african american teen girl, Not the remarkable miracle i was searching for, but taking this with 5000 mcg of biotin my hair has amazingly thickened and my naturally curly roots cover my head when i wash it when previously all i saw was bald spots due to medical treatments i have been receiving. I recommend it, if you want healthy hair... and the smell isn't bad at all- not flowers but herbal, and mineral... i don't mind at all.

I like the fact that this hair oil has all the oils I am use to using individually. A coworker told me about this oil. I am now on my second bottle because I use it along with two of my three daughters. Its not too heavy but its also not light. If you have really thick hair this is not a good product for you. I do believe this oil has caused one spot on the top of my head to grow. I wear a fall so I keep my hair braided for the entire week. When I take it down I still have the oil on my hair and scalp. If you have very thin African-American hair this is a good product to buy.
