thinking that they contained the same ingredients and that the WGLO was a
lighter, more diluted version of the WGHO. I've seen results from both. Faster
hair growth and softer hair. I just need to try BOTH together will the Curly
Girl Method which consists of no/little shampooing and frequent conditioning and

My hair grew
over an inch in 6 months, it seems to be growing alot
stronger. An inch doesn't seem like alot, but I've always had thick,
weak, dry brittle hair. so
as soon as it grew it would jus break off. It's actually suprizing how strong

It works great for me

I can stretch relaxers longer since NG is softer.
My hair grows fast but dont see length due to

I don't have before or after pictures. However, I really want to tell you what I think of the Wild Growth Hair Oil and Light Oil Conditioner. My hair is a combination Hispanic-Western European/Northern European. It is very fine with loose curls and I dye it so it tends to frizz at the ends and break easily. I am also on various medications that make my hair thinner and fall out. The Wild Growth hair oil and LO conditioner help strengthen my hair and reduce frizz. My hair is also growing longer so fast you can almost see it! My scalp is well conditioned and doesn't itch anymore. I also use the WGHO on my fingernails and eyelashes. My fingernails are stronger and don't break as fast as they used to. Also, my eyelashes were extremely thin. Now my eyelashes are growing back, long and thick! Thank you for your products. I don't have to use a lot and they last me a long time. What a great product!

After
striving for four years now to grow out some unwanted layers that were chopped
from my mane, I finally am getting my hair to grow by using this wonderful
product. I have NEVER said anything like this before but
I noticed results after the

Before my hair just. would. not. grow. I guess
it was breaking off
at the ends.
Now it grows!
And
it's healthier-- I haven't had
to cut it because there are no
split ends.
Just a note that it can make your hair oily (it is an oil, after
all) so I recommend using it when you don't plan on going out, or the night
before you'll wash your hair.
I have
been let down by so many products in general and I am so pleased that something

Just looking at the ingredients on the
side of the bottle, I would have
never thought that it would make my hair feel as nice as it does. Mind you,
you can't just throw it in willy-
nilly and expect your hair to grow a foot
overnight. I have to moisten my hair a little bit with a mixture of glycerin,
aloe, and water, then apply the Wild Hair Growth to my scalp
and rub it in. I have to take my time and
apply it evenly and with care, or else I risk putting too much and it can build
up really easily. If I'm in
a rush I just put in the light
version and keep going.
I've been natural for more than a year and this product does assist in
strengthening and
softening the hair. Even
my sister who has likened my hair to
steel wool,
noticed that my hair is
much softer than it was before. I also noticed
that it seemed like my hair grew
faster, but I can't really
say because I wasn't measuring. All I
know is that
before using it, I grabbed a hair from my crown and tried to put it in my mouth
(don't judge me!), it didn't reach.
I used this product for
perhaps almost a month,
and it
reached with ease.
Some people say that the product has a
gross smell. I don't think it's a huge deal; it's like a...herbal smell, and it
seems to dissipate well enough (or I think it does), and no one
looks at me odd when I use it, so I'll
deal with it. It's not as if it smells like sewage or anything!
The
product itself is amazing,
but you have to give yourself and your hair the time and patience to work it
though your scalp, and be sure to not use too much. If your hair is
kinkier
(which mine is), you can get away with using more, but you can still put too
much, and that's no good.

I really like this oil. I really got more
than what I expected.
I've tried numerous products to
attempt to grow my hair back after a bad
braiding experience. I had two
bald spots that had not
filled in
after religiously treating them
for nearly five months. Those spots were filled in after 3
weeks of using the wild growth oil. I
agree that the smell is a lttle unappealing, however there are
a few ways to minimize that issue. I use
the oil twice a week. I always use it on damp hair after
washing.I wash my hair and then
blow dry
it a little, usually about 2 minutes. I then apply the wild
growth oil to my scalp sparingly.
A 2in
by 2in area of your scalp only needs a couple of drops,
especially on damp hair b/c it
distributes a little easier.I think it's important to massage the oil
into the scalp for at least 5minutes. I
usually let my hair air dry overnight and by morning the
smell is always gone. It makes my hair
shiny and
soft. My hair is very coarse & I wear a relaxer so I
usually flat iron the next day, my hair
is always less frizzy after using. They keep this stuff in
stock in most Sally's Beauty Supply. I
have been seeing it for years & I wish I would have tried it a
long time ago.

I received this item only a few days ago and right when I got it I couldn't
wait to try it. I got
back to my room and immediately put it on my hair. I have SUPER thick hair

Sometimes the same color but not always so as you can imagine by hair is

As soon as I opened the package (3 weeks ago), the first thing that I wanted
to do was take a whiff of the product as I read on the reviews that it
smelled repulsive. Guess what? It doesn't. If I were to be exact on how it
really smells like (for me), it smells very herby. My boyfriend tells me it
smells a tad like cinnamon, but often times it smells like a mix of
fenugreek and cinnamon.
Does it work?
I used it (and I still use it this way) after I took a shower at night, and
left it on my hair when I sleep. When I woke up, I noticed a
significant
difference on the shine and the
feel of my hair. It felt smoother and looked
smoother, and it didn't smell funky at all. I only use 10 drops every other
day, and because the substance is thick, I know this will last awhile.
After 3 weeks of using it,
my hair looks healthier and
the
split ends are
not as noticeable as they were before.
And my hair grew
1 1/2 to 2 inches.
I will keep using this, and I could definitely say this was worth the
purchase.

What is it?
I am doing a review on Wild
Hair Growth Oil. I found it at
Sally Beauty Supply.
I got it about a month ago but I have only used it a few times I wanted to
wait so I could make a post about it to see my progress better. I just
bought the oil but there is a light oil moisturizer also. I have read a lot
of reviews on it and decided to try it out.
It is supposed to help your hair grow faster, stronger, thicker, and
healthier.
Before and After
Before at 13 inches
What am I
doing with it?
so starting out i measured a piece of my hair from the bottom,
it was 13 inches
long. (This was a 15 inch ruler.) I am starting this a month from
tomorrow so on January 23 we will see how much my hair has grown :) i hoping
it will be quite a bit!
After one month-141/2-15 inches
So its been a little over
a month and my
hair is now 14 inches
long!
My hair really ends around 14 1/2-15 inches
but most of my hair ends at 14 or a little before, so I decided to go with
that.
How I use the oil.
I just drizzle a
little bit on my hand and massage it in my scalp, then I drizzle a little
less on my hand and apply it half way and run it to the bottom. I brush it
out and put my hair up. Usually I try to do this right when i get home from
school so it can soak in longer. I sleep on it and wash it out in the
morning :) You can wear this all day or apply after you shampoo, but for me
it makes my hair look a little greasy, but it will defiantly help more!

running everywhere!)

Quick bio, I am a very healthy, fit, person that takes care of herself. My
mother, grandmother, everyone has a full set of hair. I on my part, have been
losing my hair since high school and have been on a mission to get healthy hair.
I came on here (Amazon), doodling, wasting time in reading reviews to see what
worked for hair growth. This growth oil, I saw most reviews on so decided to
purchase it without high expectations. Not to mention, that when I got the
bottle in the mail I looked at it like "this looks SO CHEAP it better do
something".
*SCORE! IT'S GOOD:
I must admit, my hair hasn't grown much, but it has grown 3 inches or so. No, it
is not a drastic "OMG!"
but to me it is a noticeable difference. My hair never
went past my cleavage area so that was something!
*REGARDING THE SMELL:
It honestly depends on the person smelling this oil. It doesn't smell like roses
and jasmines, but it doesn't smell horrible either as others claim (in my
opinion). Let me attempt to describe it.
I personally like cooking with thyme, parley, sage, etc. and this oil reminds of
a herb-like scent just like those spices. So, if you hate herb-like scents then,
yes, you will hate this oil. Again it is not pungent. Specially if you only use
the daily recommended dosage (1-3 drops) you can barely smell it!
*MY USAGE:
I do the daily dosage 3 drops. I apply it shortly after I shower because I tend
to leave a towel on so it absorbs some moisture and I'm not dripping water all
over the place. If on a certain day I feel like wearing my hair in a bun, I will
add 5 drops, just so it absorbs it as leave-in conditioner while I'm at work. No
one will know because my hair is in a bun :
*SUMMARY:
It does not smell as bad as everyone says, like I said, to me it smells like a
light scent of thyme and it depends on the person's nose. I did notice some hair
growth, very small, but noticeable
since my hair never grows.
This is the first
year it goes beyond my cleavage area. I do the daily dosage (1-3 drops). On top
of it all, I like that my hair is MUCH softer
(I have very curly DRY hair). It
was like "killing two birds with one stone". I was aiming for growth, but I got
soft /
shine added to it. I'm happy with this. I do recommend it. Don't judge this
product by its bottle because the bottle looks cheap as heck! What's inside is
what matters?--Right?
Follow the label 1-3 drops, don't drench your hair in more than 5 drops because
it WILL weigh down your hair and stink it up. Do MORE drops ONLY if you intend
of sleeping over night with it as a oil hair treatment. Make sure you wear a cap
(protect your nice pillow).
P.S. makes my hands soft so I like using it on skin too

Okay, so this is just my second
week of using this. I'm really not expecting my hair to be down to my
booty using this...I don't have false expectations. I just want to
control my
dandruff
and
split ends.
I have relaxed hair that can be
overly thick when done at home (coarse).
This is a very heavy oil. It's
thick and a lil sticky.
I find that it's best
used with a lotion or
in combination with another product
to seal the ends.
I used it to
blow dry my hair after using BB Oil Mosturizer w/ Castor Oil
and Aloe and
it rescued the results of a wrap lotion that didn't work.
When my hair air dries, it poofs up. I partially air dried and then blow
dried the rest-- the mix made my hair
soft and
smooth.
As far as dandruff goes...It's
too soon to tell. my scalp has gotten a little itchy, but I
didn't see any big visible flakes like I saw
before.
My hair does get a little greasy...but it's to the touch not to the
look. I'm single so no man is running his fingers through my hair, I
don't care.
And the smell isn't really that bad to me, if you're using another
product you won't be able to smell it. Also, I kind of liked it to be
honest. Like most natural oils, after a couple of days it turns a little
rancid smelling. By the time it got bad I washed it out.

Hi, I would like to say that Wild Growth Hair Oil is the best hair oil on the market. I live in Tampa, FL and the weather here is very humid at times…especially in the summer. I have been using WG for 23 years. I was first introduced to it by a neighbor who has 2 interracial daughters. It was very abundant, at first, then I had to start looking for it at almost every beauty supply store in the Tampa Bay area until I could find it. Now, it is the mainstay of my hair care regime. I am transitioning to natural and have not relaxed my hair since February 23, 2011, and with WG I have been able to manage the 2 hair textures just fine. Wild Growth is so versatile, it can be used on wet hair, dry hair, and everything in between. When I regularly relaxed my hair, I would use it as a heat protectant while flat ironing or hot curling my hair. Now I use it when I braid my hair and I will be using it when I fully transition to natural for twist outs and braid outs.

Been using wild growth oil only and its a mazing of wht its done to my hair
now av orderd 6 bottles of the wildgrowth oil and 6 bottles of the

Three years ago, after BC’ing my hair 3x’s over a period of almost 12 years, I decided to let my hair grow out, in its natural state. For two years, I kept my natural hair in protective styles and made sure to moisturize every day. I used it with a drop of jbco and MN and all I can say
is my hair started growing
like wild fire. And then I took the sew-in out and I haven't had a
chance to make the mixture again. I am still trying to figure out what to do

The Truth: Okay I know what you are thinking, "Wild
growth oil is so 4-5 years ago, why are you now trying this out?", and you
are right! It took me forever to want to buy this product. I repeatedly
heard about it through friends, reviews, challenges, and blogs but that
never really gave me the urge to buy & try it.
I bought this oil back in May 2010 (product haul May 2010) and I've been
using it on and off ever since.
This oil is by far one of the
best oils I've ever used.
It does exactly what it says and
I lovvveee it.
I have been using it
as a sealant, after my Hot Six Oil ran out, and
it locks in moisture
very well, my hair feels
conditioned, has more
shine and
the texture is
much softer to the touch
than usual. It makes my
ends feel so smooth and soft I find myself randomly touching my ends
throughout the day just in awe at how nice it feels. I don't put
it on the scalp, therefore I can't comment on hair growth, although you can.
I just use Jamaican Black Castor Oil on my scalp exclusively. I apply WGO
(Wild Growth Oil) on my ends in sections after I'm done moisturizing. It's a
deep yellow color and has a thick/sticky-like consistency. The only downside
is the scent of the oil, it's not the greatest.
It's really hard to compare it to anything else since
there's nothing like it to be honest, LOL. The more you use it
the less you notice it. I also find that the scent doesn't linger. Overall
I love
this oil as a sealant.
It does an amazing job at
softening my
texture (especially
if it's dry and
tangled) and
locking in moisture.

The only complaint I have is that it was a bit more expensive than I'm used
to but since I live in an area where they don't have any

after each wash. I have Mid back length hair so you can imagine how
frustrating it could get trying to untangle all of it. After a friend
suggested this to me, I tried it without expecting much from it since it was
a bunch of oils.
I was pleasantly surprised!
My hair soft,
moisturized and
did not tangle after my wash.
My hair is growing like crazy without doing
anything except using this and making sure that I trim my ends. I have been
using it for a few months now and I intend to continue using it.
Works great for people with braids, the tip makes it easy for application.
It has a slight smell which might be unpleasant to some but goes away after
a while. My dog loves it so I don't leave it around because she constantly
tries to drink it. Oh I have type 4 b,C hair.

It's a miracle, that's all I

which was three nights

am white, so it makes my hair really greasy, but it's okay
because it is soaking into your hair and revives it throughout the night. I
warm up the oil before each use, so it stimulates the hair follicles and I
put majority of the oil on my roots, massage it in, and I put some more on
the roots.
I used to dye my hair at least three times a week and
now all of the damage is unnoticable.
I can't see any split ends
anymore and my
hair has already gained some length. I sleep with it in and wash
it out in the morning. To get it completely out though, you need to use
shampoo twice. Only on the roots though, keep the oil on the ends. I also
use aphogee pro-vitamin leave in treatment, aphogee keratin and green tea
reconstructerizer, and scalp scrub. The oil has a weird medicine smell, but
it goes away when you wash your hair.

Not a Hoax, I've been using this product since childhood.
Actually I stopped
for a while, and forgot about it or didn't have the money to afford it in my

I'd damaged my naturally curly hair with a pressing comb and

I have super thin caucasian hair that breaks and falls out a lot. I did some
research on this product and bought it in mid July right after I cut about 3
inches of my hair because it was so damaged. My hair has already grown back
to where it was. It's also super soft and feels stronger. I use about 15
drops after i wash my hair. I use 5 for the bottom, 5 for the middle and 5
for the top and them comb my hair to make sure the product is distributed
evenly. I use it about 3-4 times a week and on the days that I use it, I let
my hair air dry and add a little mousse so that I don't overkill my hair
again. So far it has worked great. Just make sure you don't get too exited
and use too much at one time because it is an oil and it will make caucasian
hair look greasy.

When I first saw this product, I used to see it advertised in the back of magazines such Ebony along with other products that seemed to be bogus products. The Wild Growth Hair Oil ad had a picture of a little girl with waist length hair with the promise of "wild growth" of hair. I thought this was too good to be true, but one day I decided to give it a try and see what it was all about.
I went to my local Sally Beauty Supply and bought a bottle for about $7.00. As soon as I got home I started applying it on my roots and massaged my scalp after I was done applying it. The directions on the bottle says to apply 1-3 times per week so I would try to do this at least twice a week. After using this on a regular basis I did notice that my hair texture was softer and my curls were becoming more defined. And after a few weeks after I first started using this, I noticed 2 inches of new growth.
Wild Growth Hair Oil can be used on all types of textures, but I think if you have relaxed hair{ you may feel the need to touch your roots up more often since this product can cause your hair to grow quicker and the new growth will become obvious before you know it.}←☺Wild Growth's Counterpoint: It is still not advisable to only measure new growth based on what you see growing close to your scalp because Wild Growth® Hair Oil more often than not, will also soften hair close to the roots to the degree that relaxers can last twice their normal life (see relaxer stretcher testimonials). I've tried plenty of hair oils, as I'm quite fussy as
to what I use on my hair. I usually texturize my hair every 3
months.
It definitely promotes new hair growth,
that tingly feeling you get is because your hair folicals are stimulating
because of the oil, so any time my scalp starts to tickle or tingle, I smile
to myself cos I no its working, plus I love the feeling. You don't need to
over use it, I use it once every 3 to 5 days. Also the odour may be quite
strong but that's because its pure plant extracts which is perfect. In all,
I would give this oil 10/10.
It delivers what it
promises, no chemicals, 100% pure, and
healthy
long hair. I am

My hair normally grow about 1cm a month. Using this
oil makes it grow 1'inch a month!
My hair is down my back past by bra strap.
It would be soooo much more longer if I didn't cut if every month, but
I love this oil &
will continue to use it continously! If you
haven't tried it then please give it a go, you will not be dissapointed,
just give it time. I need to state just one more thing, bare in mind
this oil also softens your new growth,
so because of that u might think its hardily
grown as your normally use to seeing thick growth, but it has grown!!!

The only complaints I've had with this product is the smell. It's not a very strong odor, but it does have an odd waxy smell that is a little hard to explain. Other than that I feel that this is a great product and it's made of mostly natural ingredients and you don't have to worry about harsh chemicals and alcohols found in most hair products.
