Braids

Both Wild Growth® Hair Oil  and Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer should be used for braids. To understand this, you must know the general difference between both products:

The Wild Growth® Hair Oil offers growth AND powerful natural texturizing for detangling and smooth hair styles when blow drying and pressing. Wild Growth® Hair Oil will re-condition an old wig to make it new again because of its powerful texturizing qualities. It is used on damp or dry hair and scalp. The Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer offers growth AND can be used directly in a shampoo to protect hair from over-stripping while still moisturizing and seeding for growth while the scalp is cleansed. It is also used as a leave-in conditioner on wet hair to prevent wet/dry cycle damage (breakage). It is very slick or lubricating to enable handling of delicate hair without pulling on it and will prevent wigs from pulling on hair too. Like the name implies, it is light in feel, color, and odor and, when used together with Wild Growth® Hair Oil between washings (on damp or dry hair), can customize Wild Growth® Hair Oil's level of heaviness, color, and odor. Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer will deodorize or freshen-up head funk in between washings. Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer can be used on wet, damp, or dry hair and scalp. No matter what hair type, by using both products one can get maximum texturizing and heat styling results while aiding hair growth 24/7 in all cycles (wash, rinse, and in between) forming a complete hair growth system.

Braiding (actual braiding) :

To set your hair up for braiding (detangling brushing, combing, or smoothing with heat) Wild Growth® Hair Oil is the primary product to produce a frizz free body-full braid. Then, it will be easier to work with the Wild Growth® Hair Oil while braiding because it has more grab.

Braid Maintenance (applying to head with braids):

Once the braids are in place:
the Wild Growth® Hair Oil for controlling braid frizz halo. The Wild Growth® Light Oil Moistuirizer to allow the strands to slip and slide across each other with no damage and for lasting moisture. the Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer should be the primary product to use. It provides the slickness to lessen the cutting action of hair-strand- against-hair-strand during normal movement. It is to be regularly applied (always in small quantities) throughout the hair and scalp. You want to have always enough in your head to draw just a little shine on your fingers when you touch your head. 1- 3 times per week should be the frequency for most users to accomplish that. Of course, for protective styles avoid micro or not much larger braids. For large braids you can go down the braid with the bottle’s pointed spout. For smaller you can clench an oiled hand along the braid. There is no build-up with these oils, but let the Wild Growth® Hair Oil absorb well before taking down and washing head to avoid saponification of any residual surface oils resulting in stickiness or film which has more to do with the mixing this heavier oil with the surfactants than the oil itself. For when you do take down the braids to wash, Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer can (5-15 drops) be actually be mixed with shampoo in hand for washing the head, and can (5-15 drops) be used in rinsed wet hair as a leave-in conditioner without any ‘residue reaction’. Also, if head gets funky while in braids, Wild Growth® Light Oil Moisturizer will refresh and Wild Growth® Hair Oil will extend braid softness and body  for less frequent washing. Always remember to use these oils sparingly. They can produce a growing itch or growing dandruff but to tolerable limits if used just enough.

Braids and Shampooing

Shampoo when really necessary. The less the better. The WG Light Oil Moisturizer will keep gunk, funk and flake levels down so you can stay fresh longer with your protective style.
WG Hair Oil will revive and recondition both artificial and natural braid and, because of 'grab' Factor, will help in the process of doing and undoing braid.
Summary: Shampoo infrequently and only when necessary. WG Light Oil Moisturizer will extend the time between shampoos. WG Hair Oil will revive reduce frizz and 'halo' effect) on both natural and artificial hair and make the braiding/unbraiding process easier. In between those times rely on using more WG Light Oil Moisturizer for lasting moisture and maintenance.
Remember to mix 10-20 drops of WG Light Oil Moisturizer in each dab of shampoo for protection against harshness while deep seeding for growth during cleansing and use as leave in conditioner on rinsed wet hair before drying to combat the wet-dry hair breakage cycle.

Hello. After 12 years with locks, last July 2015 I cut them off and discovered
disastrous hair loss. It kept falling out since, I became depressed. Spent so much
money with no results. Then February 2016 I finally tried Wild Growth, results
noticed in a matter of a few weeks. I can't brag enough about your product. I hope
it would grow even faster :) but I am ever so grateful for the progress thus
far. KEEP IN MIND after a few weeks your product had positive results.
Thank you thank you thank you. Ms D.

I have been using the oil for years but just started using the moisturizer this yr. if u are saying it don't work then u ain't using it enough! I don't follow the directions and put a few drops! Nope I wear braids or sew ins and I go crazy with the bottle and put on my bonnet and go to bed. I do this like 3 times a week bc my scalp be dry! Since I started with the moisturizer , I like to mix it in the same bottle! U can see your hair grow wildly out through the braids!!!! Positive Image I tried it and honestly it does work. ... I wear a sew in... after using it daily ...when I took my sew in out after 2 months my hair grew drastically. .{however I did experience burning sensation in the back of my head...tingling. . And heat coming from the back of my head. I started having headaches face pain scalp irritation..}←Wild Growth's Take:
These oils free up deposits of toxins (past/current drugs and regular metabolic wastes) that inhibit growth. But sometime, with some people, if these waste products can't leave the body fast enough and/or if the body fluids are too concentrated, they can irritate locally in the skin/scalp or recirculate in the blood stream to irritate elsewhere. The solution is to wash out to toxins that are pulled up from inside the scalp that are now sitting and irritating the outside of the scalp (just like you did), tone down on the use (recommended frequency is 3X week but can work if used even less frequently) of the oils and still get results, drink more fluids and better yet pure water, and maybe go on a natural gentle herbal body (including bowel) cleansing regimen. Avoid refined starches dairy, red meat, alcohol, caffeine, carbonated beverages, etc.. And increase vegetables (sea weed is real protective against toxins) friuts and whole grains. Avoiding eating late at night also prevents metabolic toxic build up.

... once I washed my hair and the oil ... everything went away. ... I was disappointed because the product reallllllly reallllllly reallllllly works.

Working wonders for my almost none existant edges!
ByTracey Jayon October 11, 2015

I am African with re laxed hair. My edges are weak and were almost nine existant due to years of weaving and braiding continuously. I know longer braid my hair in an effort to regrow my edges. I have tried products like Jamaican black castor oil, ors fertilizing temple balm, t44z, black seed oil.... None of them helped to regrow my edges.
I started using wild growth oil(white bottle) 5 weeks ago and the wild growth oil light moisturizer(yellow bottle) 3 weeks ago). After a week my edges started to fill in. I was so impressed with the products. Now in week 5 I feel like the growth is not as much as in week 1 but it is still growing. I also relaxed my hair one week in and I now have about an inch of growth in the rest of my head. I know my edges will take a while. I use the oil in white bottle every other day on my scalp and massage my scalp for 5 minutes every night even on the nights I do not apply the oil. The oil moisturizer in yellow bottle I use in my hair every other day to seal my moisturizer. I also use a few drops of it with my shampoo on wash day. I mix both oils for my prepoo as well.
On another note my husband has been developing a a bold (bald) spot on the top front part of his head  over the last few years. He used the oil in white bottle and started seeing results after ten days.
I highly recommend these oils. However I think it's important to actually massage the scalp for 2-5 minutes to increase blood flow which encourages hair growth. Also it should not be used more than 3 times a week.

"I love the yellow bottle! I had box braids in and you know when you keep them in for so long without washing them you get build up and stench. The yellow bottle keep my scalp clear and stench free. I was also going to the gym a lot, with sweat and all, the oil kept my hair in best condition and my hair didn't feel dirty. I had the braid in for two and I know I had to wash it after I took them out but while wearing the braid my hair never felt dirty or itchy. Also, I was dandruff free!"- JD-FaceBook

This oil is great. I have natural hair and keep my hair in braids. I normally just squeeze it in between my braids.

Day Robertson Ive used this off and on for years. Works great. I stick with the original white bottle. It works as a good pressing oil and is even better growth if you wear braids or a protective style. Made my hair super thick to the point where my stylist asked me to stop taking it lol. Combine it with biotin and you'll see results # no perm!

Love this stuff ... The green one works real well... I'm transitioning to natural myself ... So when I braid down for a weave I put this oil in the parts .. And down the length and ends of the braid ... Then cover with a wig cap... Blow dry , to open up the cuticle that way the oil gets to where it needs to .. I dyed my hair burgandy
before I decided to go natural .. So I can see my roots black
and it's only been almost 2 weeks.... Plus it works good on nails helps them grow fast , especially if you already have a full set of acrylic or gel nails definitely has and I use it on my eyebrows... GETCHUSOME

I Love & use W.G.O. for so many years!!!  It's a staple in my healthy hair journey!!! I use it when my hair is cornrowed, especially during the winter months. The oil keeps my scalp & hair very moisturized and eliminates any dryness!!! Helps with my edges to not thin out while wearing wigs too! I've posted a pic on my Instagram Classysweetfm of the Wild Growth Oil as a staple of mine!!! Using this product also soften and smooths my nails/cuticles as well!!!

Subject: Wild Growth Hair Oil

Hi, I would like to say that Wild Growth Hair Oil is the best hair oil on the market. I live in Tampa, FL and the weather here is very humid at times…especially in the summer. I have been using WG for 23 years. I was first introduced to it by a neighbor who has 2 interracial daughters. It was very abundant, at first, then I had to start looking for it at almost every beauty supply store in the Tampa Bay area until I could find it. Now, it is the mainstay of my hair care regime. I am transitioning to natural and have not relaxed my hair since February 23, 2011, and with WG I have been able to manage the 2 hair textures just fine. Wild Growth is so versatile, it can be used on wet hair, dry hair, and everything in between. When I regularly relaxed my hair, I would use it as a heat protectant while flat ironing or hot curling my hair. Now I use it when I braid my hair and I will be using it when I fully transition to natural for twist outs and braid outs.

Thanks Wild Growth for being the best hair oil on the market today!!!! Please don’t ever change the formula, I’m afraid that it would not be the same as the original.

Cons: smell, possible drip
"Okay, I see that everyone is talking about the smell. Yes the smell is something one has to get use to! Reading the ingredients list one wouldn't expect anything less. This product is filled with natural, herbal ingredients. I bought Wild Grow some years ago, and now I'am back. I applied it to my scalp when I had braids  and my hair grew tremendously. The only thing that I did not like was the product would drip (probably due to over usage). I will test it out again(with the braids I have now) and see if the results hold true!"

Before pictures (bald right and bald left) were taken in early July '08. I previously had relaxed hair that was well past my shoulders, but I cut all of that off in June '08 because I wanted to start over with natural hair. What I didn't realize is that the hair near my temples was actually very thin and nearly bald. When I noticed this I went out and bought some Wild Growth Oil. I applied it especially to my temples every 2-3 days. I began to see improvement within a week!

The first after pictures (combed out hair and braidout) were taken in late August '08. It is clear that the edges are now filled in (after 2 months of using Wild Growth Oil) and overall the hair is fuller and longer. The last picture was taken in mid December '08. So that's about 5 months of growth! The hair is soft, fluffy, and completely healthy!

I am constantly telling other people about Wild Growth Oil. It is my major hair staple, because I can use it to achieve so many different styles. I use it to moisturize and set my hair for twistouts, braidouts, coilouts. I use it to smooth down my edges, and my edges are smoother now than they ever were when I relaxed my hair!

My hair used to be dry and short. When I had moved to Florida my hair was long but I had to cut it because of the water. Within one year, I couldn't grow my hair. I saw your product on a flier and had to try it. I saw improvement in my hair and it is still growing. It's unbelievable. It's been three years, going on four years, since I used it. I told my brother, mother-in-law and friends and they love it as well. They thanked me and to the heavens for your company. Now my hair texture is so soft like a baby's hair, and I love the way it moves. I'm mixed blooded and people still can't believe my hair would look this good. Thank You. Dear Wildgrowth,
I just had to share my story with you all. My name is Darlene, I am an African American, and as a small child I never had a problem with my hair, I had kind of a good grade of hair but it was thin. I finally got a relaxer when I was maybe 8 years old. But with thin hair that was not a good idea and my mom at the time was not aware of that. In 2002 I made a mistake of getting my hair colored and streaked. The day after I woke up and my whole entire head was blonde. I had to constantly have my hair treated to keep it from breaking but it did. I also had braids put in my hair about 6 months after that. Another mistake. My temples became very, very thin and on one side of head I had to comb my hair down over the sides so that the thinning would not show. The kitchen of my head as well as above my ears became very thin, one side was almost bald. I had to wear styles that would cover those spots witch became hard to do. I mean I tried every thing to grow my hair ba ck, it was broken off and it looked really unhealthy. I tried (#######), I bought anything and everything that said it will make the hair thicker and grow. I would look in the mirror and cry. One day my sister told me about a lady who had hair damage from braids and told me that her hair was grown back by a product which was an oil called Wildgrowth. At first I was sceptical because I had tried so many things. So I asked where could I find it and I made a trip to "Sally's Beauty Supply" where I purchased it. Not even a week had passed and I saw a difference in my hair!! I could see the new growth and my hair was shiney and healthy looking. Every 2-3 days I would apply wildgrowth and I am so amazed at my hair!! My hair has totally grown back. It is healthier and more manageable, I can style it any way I like and it is thicker!! I have never had a thicker hair, and it has grown so much. People ask me all the time, what are you ;using on your hair and I gladly say "wildgrowth" and I tell them it is worth it! Thanks so much for this wonderful product! It is so awesome, and I will continue to use it as well as spread the word about it!! Thanks for helping me get my hair back!!!

I have been using your product for a year and 1/2 now. I am extremely satisfied. I stumbled upon your website by accident. I am an African American woman with soft, thin, to very fine hair. My hair was about at my ears. Now it is almost to my shoulders. It has thickened up, and my sides that were thinning, have filled in. I had been praying for a product that would help my hair. Perms would grow my hair, but eventually it would thin it out. I wanted to come out of a perm, and do a press and curl.

My hairdresser kept telling me that during the transition of coming out of a perm, my hair would break, and advised against it. That is when I found your product online. I bought a bottle, and have used it faithfully. It will be 2 years in Feb of being perm free. My hair experienced very little breakage during that time.

I get it pressed and wear it in twists, or braids. I would have never been able to go without a perm if it had not been for your product. I am so Thankful to the makers of WGO. Please continue to keep it on the market. I wish that you would eventually create a shampoo, and conditioner. I would definitely buy those too! I wondered how I could get a survey, and place my testimony online. God Bless, and Thank you for making thousands of women around the world so happy!

After seeing the testimonials and there was one that really got me so I e-mailed the lady and she was like well I was skeptical too, but it work so I was like fine I will give it a try and I did. The before picture was taken just a couple of days before I started using Wild Hair Growth. While using wild hair growth from January to May I keep my hair out in a wrap I did not braid it or anything and just a couple of weeks later I started noticing amazing growth then in April colored it you still can see it because I started using Wild Growth I had it dyed Jet Black. From late May to middle just I had Braids in plats and I burned the ends just for like three weeks and that is when my hair really grew I put my little oil in one or twice a day and washed it twice a week that works for me I have to wash my hair at least twice a week, but I still put in my oil regularly. Then when I took out my braids I got a relaxer and I was like WOW! This stuff really works. I know from past experiences with trying to grow my hair back it grow more while it was braided, but with Wild Growth it Grew more I mean you should have seen it in real life everyone was like what are you using I was like girl I got this oil that I have been using and it is working for me and I went to Boston and my family was like what are you using just this oil and my cousin my was like I want to buy so she took me to a sally beauty Supply store and we brought the oil and we made sure that it was no a fake one. My after picture was taking just a month ago in December of 2006 and you can see for your self the difference. Not only the length, but the strength, the volume, body and all that.

52 year old female, hair type not indicated. No history of Lye products. Has used dye and hot oil treatments before and since using Wild Growth Hair OilTM. Has used hair drier and perms only before using Wild Growth Hair OilTM. Has braided most of her life. With Wild Growth Hair OilTMHas seen 4 inches of growth in 7-8 months, slight thickening after 20 weeksand has also noticed softer hair texture.

User comments:

My hair would not grow no more than my shoulders till I used Wild Growth. Now my hair is strong and long. I have had 3 inches cut off to get my hair even. Now its to my mid back area and I would still like it to get it to grow to my knees. This Wild Growth is the only product I have found that makes my hair grow (read orginal comment -part one). I have tried several products that were guaranteed to make my hair grow 4 to 6 inches in one week and none of these products worked. I paid out lots of money to try to get my hair long and beautiful but none of these products worked for me. But Wild Growth, its super, it does what the product says it will and I'm very pleased at the results Wild Growth has done  (read original comment-part two).

I have been using your oil for about 4 1/2 years now and my hair is so thick. People use to be able to see through my hair but not anymore. I wear my hair in braids during the summer using your oil on it. I haven't relaxed my hair in 5 months. I took out my braids shampooed and conditioned it. I never relax my hair fresh out of braids. I used my flat iron using your oil, my hair looks like it was freshly relaxed. My friends wanted to know what relaxer I used and I told them your oil and my flat iron. They told me I really didn't need a relaxer using your oil while flat ironing it. Wild growth oil has made it possible for me to wait 6-months before relaxing again because it's not healthy to relax the hair to soon in between which makes it a lot healthier. My daughter hasn't had her hair relaxed in 4-years and all I use is your oil and my flat iron and her hair is silky straight. I have never gone without using your oil and can't imagine not having it here.
A very happy customer, keep up the good work

A patch of my hair that was missing before. It started out less than an inch about 1/2 an inch. It could not even be braided and now it has grown to about 3 1/2 inches since April of this year. I think I will get a ruler next time so display is more accurately.

I had gotten my hair colored and since I had not treated and prepared my hair for it, my hair ended up damaged and fell out. So I had choppy hair going on. The back was twenty different lengths and the front part of my hair was the only health part. But I have also been using the oil in some sort of order. I use it every 3 days. Since my hair was choppy, I got my hair braided to see if my hair would grow and while in braids I oiled my hair every 2 to 3 days. I just took my braids out and the choppy parts grew. So I am about to get twist locks Aug. 30. So I will take a picture of those results.

I recently bought wild growth oil in a local hair supply store and i must say that i am very happy about the results. Before i started using wgho, my hair was thin and damaged from wearing micro braids. So about a month ago i cut my hair into a bob right above my shoulders (my hair was so damaged that the hair in the back of my head was different lenghts, still is but its getting treated and it is growing). Without wild growth oil my hair would still be different lenghts and damaged. I would like to thank the inventors and recommend this oil to everyone having hair problems like me!

Hello, I have read the testimonies and I saw a few pictures. I was wondering
if you had anymore pictures or testimonies that I can read. I have been
using your product for 3 days now and I had real bad bald spot on both side
of my head from my braids
and already I have hair its not full but you can
see it. I was really surprised but another one of my main concerns is gettin
my hair to grow and I was wondering what is the best way to use this product
so I can get my hair to grow a little bit faster. Thank You so much for
inventing this product I would probably be hiding for the rest of my life if
it wasn't for your product. I thought I cold never get my sides to grow back
I done pulled them out so many times.

Thank You,

Hi Wildgrowth. I thank God for this oil. It has truely grown my hair. I changed from a perm to a relaxer. My hair came out by the handful. Eight inch hair became 1/2 inch hair. I wore braids and did the wildgrowth treatments for three years. I would use a hair strengthner each time I re-braided my hair along with the wildgrowth. My hair was very thin and in terrible shape. The wildgrowth made it thicher and darker. My relatives says my hair is very healthy and thick. My hair is about eight inches long again but healthier. I am a user for life. Sorry I don't have any before pictures. Keep producing this wonderful oil, now I know that African American women can have long hair too. I can't wait to see how long my hair
will be next year. It's all GOOD!!!!!

I am now using your product which I had used before and it worked! I am now using it on my daughter's hair which is very thick and dry (she is tender headed)! This product helps detangle her hair and it's shiny! I have braids in my hair and can even feel a difference when I touch the new growth.

Testimonial:
Like almost everyone reading about things on the Internet, when I read about Wild Growth Hair Oil, I thought it was another falsely advertised product. I read all of the testimonies (and I do mean all of them) and still thought it was a gimmick. I mean, come on, if it WAS this good then why hadn't I heard of it before? Anyway, since it didn't cost much and it was just a natural oil, I decided to try it? What did I have to lose? The worse that could happen was that my hair would get some much-needed oil.
So, I tried it. I have a perm and had suffered some major damage and hair loss from some not-so-smart decisions I had made concerning my hair - including over processing and the use of bonding glue. My hair was in the process of growing back, but it was growing back slowly. I was happy with its growth because I had damaged it so bad that I looked as if I had shaved some parts of my head. I was hoping Wild Growth would work, but I didn't want to get my hopes up too high.
Okay, so what happened? I first tried it in in the beginning June. I didn't notice much because I had my hair braided at the time. I used it every week, about twice a week or a little more. I took the before picture right (before picture ) I began using it. I unbraided my hair in July. I noticed that my hair was softer and a bit longer, but I didn't take an after picture then. Instead, I just braided it up again (I actually had my beautician braid it up again). My beautician commented on how much my hair had grown, but I really didn't pay much attention to her comments then.
I kept using Wild Growth regularly and then... I unbraided my my hair again, about six weeks later, and took my first after picture.
WOW!!! I was amazed. My hair had grown significantly! My beautician commented on how healthy it was and how much it had really grown. Of course, I still couldn't believe it, so I thought I'd do another test. I braided it up again and decided to take another (after picture ) picture. When I unbraided my hair, it was obvious that it had grown a lot even in the seven weeks since I had last braided it.
All in all, since June (it's now November), my hair has grown about five inches (that's about an inch a month). I haven't cut it since it began it super growth spurt, but I will even it out soon. In spite of not being trimmed, it is so much healthier, it's thicker and it's stronger. I love it! I will be a Wild Growth fan forever. I've told my family and friends and I show them the pictures as proof.
I know it may be hard to believe and for those who still are uncertain or skeptical, please feel free to email me with questions about my use yjbesq@yahoo.com. By the way, I plan to send in another picture in December.
Thank you so much Wild Growth... you are the savior for my hair.

I'm back again, L.N.A. from Houston, Texas to tell you about my results. AsI said before in January my hair had grown. So I put my braids on and continue to use the oil every day on the braids and I washed my hair hair with X shampoo and condition every Saturday. I took my braids out on April 12 and I couldn't believe my eyes. My hair was so thick and long. I'm not sure but I believe it grew 3 inches....everybody in my house were amazed with my hair...In Short...I'm very satisfied with the iol. Everybody in my house tarted using it after they had seen my results. Please...please...keep selling the oil. Never stop. For any skeptics, believe, it really works. I. personally, in the beiginning doubted the famous testimonies. But I know I'm a believer. I use the oil and I see the amazing results.

Since using Wild Growth Hair Oil® hair length improvement has been observed within days, thickness improvement within weeks, thinning of bald spot improvement within days, hair breakage improvement within days  and hair texture improvement within weeks. User comments: I was 21 years old before I started using Wild Gro. My hair was embarassing. It was short. Hair breakage was really bad. It was very
thin then. I started to wear braids and it did help a little. Then one day I was looking in the Ebony book and saw a lady holding a bottle of Wild Growth Hair Oil and that day in June of 1998 I sent my money order off. After it came, I started using it in my braids. At the time, my hair was at my ear and after 2 months, after taking it down, my hair dropped to my shoulder. I said hell no, this ain't my hair. This long , not in 2 months. Now my hair is down my back. I love you Wild Gro.

I discovered your product in October because I saw the ad on the Ebony magazine. I decided to check the website and the testimonials seemed promising. So I bought the product and started using it. At the time, I had braids on and when I took it down I noticed a great change. My hair had grown and looked fantastic. Even my braider noticed and advised me to continue using it.Thanks for great product and please..please...don't ever stop selling it.

I am 15 years old. Last year (May 2003), I moved to a different city. This past summer (July 2004), while visiting my dad, I recognized your ad. I had seen it a few times before in magazines like Ebony and decided to visit the web site. I read the testimonials and some of them reminded me of myself.. I am half African American and half Ethiopian and used to have very thick long hair (when I was five). Without being straightened, it was past my shoulders. When it was hot combed, it was down to my waist. I've lost my hair hair three times since then, once because of mold spores in the carpet, once because I didn't take care of my hair after getting my first perm, and last because of bad microbraids. Since then it would grow quickly but never get anywhere because my ends broke off.
I asked my dad to buy the oil for me. I started to use it in the car on the way home. I have used it regularly since then. When I went back to my mother's house, she noticed how much longer it was (1/2 inch maybe). We moved back to the city I was living in in May 2003. When I went back to school, my old friends noticed how healthy and shiny my hair was. A few had commented on how it had grown. One of my friends begged me to tell what I was using. I didn't want to tell her until wgho had made it grow as long as I wanted it to, but I caved and told her anyway. Now she and her sister use it and both of them have healthier looking hair. Whenever I go to buy some more, I always buy two bottles to make sure that I don't run out.

WOW. I started using this   product Sept 3, 2004. In addition to this product, I tried others and my hair literally revolted the other products by breaking, falling, shedding you name it. I ditched the other products and stayed with WGHO and started getting comments like, "Girl, your hair is growing like a weed." Today is Oct 9, 2004 with my hair to my neck; I started out Sept 3rd with hair to my ears and, as I said earlier, it was breaking off. You must know I take a daily vitamin and MSM which is a type of digestible sulfur. WGHO alone grew back my hair line which had suffered severe breakage from tight braids. That growth took only 5 days for me. I went to the beauty supply store to get more and they were sold out, went to another store and they had two bottles left after just replenishing their store order with 7 bottles two days ago from today and of coarse I just purchased the last two. This stuff is like liquid gold BECAUSE it works. I do not plan to put chemicals in my hair; chemicals are NEVER a good thing. I flat iron my hair for a sleek sheen look and this product does very well with heat styling. Thank you for allowing beauty supply stores to sell WGHO.

Hi!. I'm 14 years old, and for about eleven years, I had pretty long and very thick, unmanagable hair. About once or twice a month, my mom would do my hair. I dreaded getting my hair done. You see, Im half African, half European, but I totally got African hair. My mom would wash and condition my hair in the bathtub, and I would be miserable with water and soap dripping everywhere. Then I would sit for about 4 hours getting each strand of my tangley curly hair brushed, combed, and put in rollers. This hurt so bad! Then, when my hair was all done in rollers, my mom would take all the rollers out and pull them up in a pony tail. It looked nice, but the point was I was getting older and could not deal with my hair anymore.
My mom had probably spent about 2 thousand dollars in products. Each time we would go to a different salon, and each time they would give us another product to try, but my hair was still as unmanagable as ever. My mom didn't want to get my hair relaxed, because she knew that chemicals would be bad for me. But, I was FED UP with my tangley hair. So thick like cotton candy. My mom tried one last thing to save me from chemicals, called the "naturalxer". It looked good for a day, then my hair went back to normal. So, the next salon we went to...
The lady seemed to know alot about my kind of hair, and I thought that she would know the answer to my hair. Well, according to her, the only answer to African-type hair was to cut it off and chemically straighten it. Well, I thought this would be the answer. She left my hair a little bit wavy, but I didn't want straight hair, just managable hair.
The same thing happened with my long and wavy hair: it hurt so bad to comb it that I didn't. My hair got so snarly that the next time we went back, the salon said that they would have to cut it shorter. All I wanted was managable hair, that I could maybe wear down! Instead, this went on for some time. One time I didn't brush it for so long that it started to dread at the roots! She cut it, then relaxed it. Then cut it. This time real short, and real straight in a Halle Berry style. It looked adorable until the damage started to come through. I was miserable.
Soo...My hair has grown from the Halle Berry Style, after I gave up on relaxers. I hate relaxers, and I'll never do another one. But it was still unmanagable, and my hair was curly. Six months of new growth...
Then, I accidentally
came upon your website. It sounded great. So my mom ordered me a bottle before we went on our trip. She put some on my scalp and hair, like directed. When I took my braids out, they looked nice and my hair felt managable.
THEN:I WENT SWIMMING. I had not put any more oil on my hair and scalp; only that one application that my mom put on. My hair frizzed up as usual.
But that night when I took a shower in the hotel room, as the water ran through my hair, it felt HEAVY!!! That is what I always wanted, hair that...I don't know how to describe it, just that has substance, like causasian hair. MY HAIR FELT LIKE WAVY WHITE PEOPLE'S HAIR!!!! My fingers felt right to my scalp! IT WAS AWESOME! Then I took a brush, and brushed my hair. The brush slid right to my scalp, and through my hair! I WAS BRUSHING MY HAIR! I was able to brush my hair out by. my. self. Wow, you don't know how happy I felt. My hair went in conditioned little waves. My hair is right now about 6 inches long. I hope to grow it really long, down to my waist or hips with Wild Growth! I have only used the Wild Growth 2 times, and I am already writing a testimonial!!! Heeheh. It is that great. This evening I took a shower, ( by the way, it is my second time using Wild Growth, and I don't need a conditioner anymore. I used to be the girl using up 4 jugs of conditioner a week!...and my hair never felt this conditioned!) towel dried my hair, and then put the Wild Growth on my hair and scalp. Mind you it took a while, because my hair is still very thick, but, it was FUN! Now, it is fun to brush my hair. It doesn't hurt. I can do it myself; I don't have to have my mom do it! It's so cool. Anyway, also, I then put it in braids, myself. It was fun. Really interesting though: I would look at a braid that I had just brushed with Wild Growth and it looked like it had a white film over it. NOT good, I thought. But then, like in 40 seconds, I glanced at the same braid again. The oil had seeped in and I was left with a
shiny braid! It's like, this oil is so natural that the hair can actually accept it. Other hair oils that I used had bad, string chemical perfume smells. They smelled so strong that my mom and I hated to use them, and we would ruin whole pans and containers preparing the oil. This one is practically food grade, meaning it smells more like some organic food rather than chemicals! My mom is even going to start using WGHO on her hair; she used it once, following directions for thinner caucasian hair, and french braided it. We immediately saw how much thicker and bodiful it looked! and the Wild Growth is natural enough for us both! My mom couldn't even see any split ends on my hair!
I am going to grow my hair to my waist! Thank you! I will keep you updated! My name is N.S. Please put this one the testimonial website, so others will see whatan awesome oil this is! Thank You!

I love this product and highly recommend it. If you have purchased this product and don't think it's working for you -give it some time. Most importantly, keep the heat off your head as much as possible. Invest in a hooded dryer and wet set your hair. This should keep your hair bouncy and curled until your next wash. The curling iron will fry your hair so bad that you may never see hair growth. As quick as it grows from the root it my be frying up at the ends.
Here's my story
. I started using your product in 1994 shortly after my son was born. When the bottle ran out I stopped using it and I didn't think anything about it. I could not tell if my hair had grown a lot because I kept cutting it every so often. I did notice that I needed a perm a lot sooner and that my jet black hair was very shiny, full and easy to manage. People asked me if I was wearing a wig.
In 2002 I was sick and tired of
wearing micro braids and weaves. They were costly and time consuming. I so desired to have my own hair, so I prayed to the Lord to ask him for help. I came across some pictures of my hair in 1994 and immediately saw how thick and shiny my hair was. I remembered that I used Wildgrowth oil. I purchased a bottle and put it in my hair to use it on my scalp in between my braids. My braids grew out so fast, that after a month they were hanging with almost 1 inch or more of new growth
. When I finally decided to do away with my braids and weaves for good, I relaxed my hair, went to a Dominican salon and got my hair trimmed (all over) to one lentgh, deep conditioned, and (doobie) roller set. Every other night I put a few drops of Wildgrowth oil on my scalp and hair and wrapped it around. I also completely eliminated using the curling iron and followed that routine every week. My hair started growing so fast! It was so shiny!. People would ask me what I was using. It was so thick and long (past my neckline), my perm lasted for 8 weeks or more. And when it came time for my trim, the stylist couldn't find any damage. She would just even it all around.
(One bottle later) At the end of 2003 I ran out of Wildgrowth. At this time my hair was to the top of my bra. But again I was attracted to all the new fancy bottled products in the stores and decided to take a break from Wildgrowth (bad move). Those products cost me so much with results that could not compare to Wildgrowth. I just placed them at the back of my closet and they are collecting dust or lining a garbage can somewhere.
July 2004. My hair seems to be the same length that it was when I stopped using Wildgrowth after I ran out in Dec. 2003. I also put highlights in my hair a week ago and I started seeing some breakage. Not a lot, because my hair is very healthy. I immediately remembered Wildgrowth and I purchased a bottle. Instantly, my hair became softer and stopped breaking. My golden highlights are soft and shiny. I'm sure the color will grow out fast because of Wildgrowth, but I can't wait to see how long it will get this time. I am believing for it to grow even longer. I thank God for
Wildgrowth.

I have been using your product for 3 weeks now and I have noticed my hair growth is around 2 inches which is wonderful. I still have a little breakage. I just took out my braids after wearing them for over 2 years off and on and it could be caused by that (dead hair). I have noticed my hair hair is much softer and manageable. I noticed when I press my hair it comes out straighter! I have recommended my product to my friend and she is caucasian and she has also noticed around 1 1/2 inch hair growth within the first 2 weeks!! This is an awesome product. It not only is helping my hair but it smells GREAT! I will keep you up to date with my progress!!

Hello, I must say that I was very skeptical when I first decided to use your product and I thought this stuff seems too good to be true, but I have seen the ad in the Ebony magazine since I was about 9 years old and now I am 27 years. So I had a problem with my hair breaking and shedding and being dry; and my daughter had the most problems with her hair and she is 7 years old. Last year, for the first time I took her to get her hair braided. Now, mind you, my daughter HAD very long, thick hair. Anyway, I took her to the salon and she got it braided and it stayed up for about 3 weeks. When it was time to take them down, I was shocked at what I was looking at. I just started crying when I saw my daughter's hair fall out along with the braided hair. I had done everything right: I oiled her scalp and kept it clean, but her hair broke so bad that it was so thin that I could see through it. I t was so short that she hardly had a ponytail. I mean I cried every time I looked at it and she was so sad. I felt so bad. I had tried everything to get her hair back in order and nothing worked. So I was using the wildgrowth oil and and it seemed to be working pretty good on my hair, and then I said I will give this a try on her as a last resort and, let me tell you, she now has hair down her back and longer than it was at first and it is so thick and I owe it all to wildgrowth oil. We have no more breakage or shedding and it isn't dry any- more. It took about 6 months but we had the patience and with the first application we saw a difference. But on top of it, we don't use any heat anymore on our hair. All we do is shampoo, deep condition, rinse, apply wildgrowth oil and setting lotion and roller set our hair, and it comes out so smooth and healthy, but I owe it all to wildgrowth oil. And since it is summer time, we will try to do away with relaxers for a while since she doesn't have school anymore. We will shampoo and wildgrowth oil and leave it like that for a couple of months until school starts so she can get a break from relaxers. I will be ordering more bottles because I can't let us run out and she won't let me run out. I hope you all stay here forever. Also, with the use of wildgrowth oil, there is no need for other useless expensive products that I have used before. So I am grateful for this product for the simple fact that it put a smile on my daughter's face again and she has now set a hair goal for herself; and that is to keep it healthy and grow it to her waist. So we will be looking forward to it. I don't think I can thank you enough! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

I have used your product for 7 months now. I haven't had any dry hair for that amount of time. My daughter tiold me that my hair has grown alot. No tangles, no brittleness, no weakness, no dullness, no itchy scalp and nice sheen.    Its even great for braids (for growing out damaged hair). Its great for broken hairlines.     It becomes even in a short amount of time. I have found that I will not live without it ever. Drastic but true (smile).

I am so glad that I came across this product. When I use Wild Growth after I wash my hair, it looks as if I blow dried it. I have always had thick medium(ish) length hair, and Wild Growth compliments it nicely. I usually wear braids 10 out of 12 months of the year as it is easier to maintain, but since I have started using Wild Growth (nearly 3 months now) I have had no need. I am very impressed and so is my mum, who hi-jacked my last bottle.Thank You Wild Growth. You are a God sent-much love from the U.K.

My hair was chin length. That was before my mother insisted on using glue to bond weave into my hair. Within 3 months my hair was extremely short, about two inches from my scalp. I've read the testimonials after I saw your ad in the back of ebony. I decided to buy it. Despite the price I'd have to say it was worth it. My hair was in braids for two weeks when I first applied it. I had to get my hair re-braided one week later because of rapid new growth. It will take a while for my hair to grow back to its original length but I have to say your product is the best.

I am very impressed with Wildgrowth and it is a product I can stand by. Wildgrowth has had amazing results for not only my niece but my other family members as well. I started using Wildgrowth when I keep trying other product that had little result. Her hair was breaking off and tangling constantly. I thought if I keep it in braids it would grow and be manageable but even with braids it was still the same. Anyone who wears braid can understand, if your hair is in braids it gathers lint and debris and when you take the braids out it still tangles and breaks off. Also you have to keep the scalp well oiled. I tried the braid sprays. Heavier Jarred Hair Conditioners and it was just not working. Then I was in the park with my Niece and I meet a woman whose daughter has beautiful hair. At first I just looked with admiring eyes. We began talking and I asked her about her daughter's hair. She told me about Wildgrowth. I combed the Beauty stores and I could not find it on the shelf. In frustration I asked the desk about Wildgrowth. The young lady told me Wildgrowth is never keep on the open shelves because the Wildgrowth would be stolen. She asked if I was a beautician. I said "no", but I was puzzled. I was thinking could this little bottle of oil be that great. I was taken back by the price of such a small bottle and I was thinking what a rip off for such a small bottle so I paid for it and left the store. I got home and decided I would use it on myself first just to make sure it would not irritate her scalp or skin. I washed my hair. Making sure my hair was free of all oils. This is my hair's most vulnerable time for breakage. I read the instructions. It said apply about 10 drops. I said to myself, they really did not think when they wrote these instructions but ok. I did as the Wildgrowth instruction advised. I poured the Wildgrowth out in my hands and rubbed it through. When I blow dried my hair, I was shocked that it blew straight. No hair breakage. The shine was great. It was the first time I did not need to use a hot comb. I was siked so I did my niece's hair. I took the braids out and she was set to cry. I just took out the braid and washed it. I didn't even comb it. I was thinking, "ok Wildgrowth, lets see what you are going to do now and this mess." Bad enough she gave me a hard time but now I knew I was looking for trouble. I used the same 10 drops. I rubbed it through her hair. I could feel her hair become less tense but I said maybe it was just the oil in my hand. I parted the hair for braiding and my niece was ready to act up. I was thinking the fight is on. I started to comb as usual end to root. NO TANGLES!!! I was thinking ok lets go further with this experiment. I parted out my first braid and began to cornroll. My niece was not up for this at all but we pressed on. The first braid was like the hair was silky smooth. I got to the end and the hair was no longer wet. I was really nervous because this is the time when the hair gets tangles and I am in for a battle. I parted the hair. Combed root to end. The comb went through very easy with no resistance. I stepped back I was floored that the Wildgrowth really worked. I had to read the bottle again. I finished her hair and was thinking this is the beginning of a great relationship. My niece is four and usually getting through the untangling and braiding was taking me 4 hours. It got to a point where I would braid and take a playbreak. anyone who has kids knows you can't ask a kid to set 10 seconds let alone 4 hours. I was shocked an hour top. Then after the braiding was the test of how will it wear. I was thinking to myself, if this product goes a week with at least dull shine then maybe we have something. I did not put any other oil in her hair. I said again to myself' I am asking for trouble. THE SHINE STAYED!!! I left it in two weeks to make sure. Then came the day I had to take her hair out and this starts our battle. I took out the first braid. Yes she had lint so I knew I had a fight. I brushed it through they lint came out with ease. Her hair was so healthy and shinny. I took all the braids out I was amazed. I WAS SOLD!!! But that was not the amazing part. This was just being. I kept using the product on her and me. I only had one problem, the wildgrowth made my hair so thick that a perm would not hold but less than two weeks and I could live with that. My nieces hair was an amazing different story. Her hair has never been permed it was getting thick and long. It grew leaps and bounds. I was thinking about that fairy tale Repunzel. I was thinking Repunzel's Mom had to use Wildgrowth to get her hair to grow.
I kept the Wildgrowth a secret. I thought if I raved over the product people would not believe me. I have learned through the years you learn by example. Each time people would see my niece they would say what beautiful hair. I said thank you. The proof was when I sent Christmas picture. Everyone wrote me back. She was beautiful. What beautiful hair. They asked me if that was her hair. I wrote back Yes it was her hair and actually they were not seeing the full length because I pinned it underneath so it would not get in her way. Then the calls started coming in. They wanted to know what I was using. I told them about Wildgrowth. My sister now uses it and she is getting the same result. My nieces Mom uses it and her hair had the same result. I used it on my Mom's her. She has gray hair and anyone with gray hair knows that the wrong product could yellow the hair but the Wildgrowth made it thicker, easier to manage and stopped the frizz and No Yellowing. I also found that people think that this is a black product but I gave it to my friend as a gift. She is Italian. she thought I was crazy. She has a curl perm. Her hair was not holding its luster. Now she uses 5 drops a day. she says her hair is like silk. It has a great shine and the oil is not heavy. I think that is the beauty of Wildgrowth. Also it took me 1 year to use up a bottle. AMAZING!!! I really got my monies worth and more.
Thank you Wildgrowth .

Dear wild growth. My mother lives in Scottsdale, AZ ... I gave her a bottle of wild growth when I visited her for christmas. My mother lost her hair when she had major surgery some years ago. When she started to use it, she could see hair growth right away. She almost started crying because she was told that her hair would never grow back, that the cells were dead. Please email me and let me me know where she can purchase a large bottle. I can't afford to keep sending her this product. Please email me soon. Thank you, you are a blessing.
(In a follow up email) Thank you so much for your reply. A nurse had told me about wild growth. She had chemo which, of course, took her hair out. She said that in a short time her hair grew back long enough for her to put braid extensions on her hair. You should see my mother's growth in one week, we did find it at Sally's. Thank you so much. Please stay in business. I will pass this product to others.

I am reordering 3 bottles of Wild Growth Hair Oil. It doesn't make my scalp itch like the other hair growing greases in the stores. P.S. I wear braids and the first week of using wild growth oil I saw some (alot) hair growth. 3 bottles last over 9 months.

I just wanted to tell you that I LOVE your product. I wanted to take my time to tell you my story. 1 year ago, I decided to stop relaxing my hair: this is the best decision I have ever taken in my entire life (chemically free).
So I had to get to know my natural hair and try to find which product would be good for it. During the transition period (half relaxed/half natural) which lasted about 2 months I wore braids. I bought your product just to moisturize the scalp and make the new growth more manageable. I was amazed by the soft texture of the new growth and then 1 week later, when I undid the braids, my hair had already GROWN, No kidding! I could not believe it. There are so many products that promise to grow hair but are useless. So I cut the relaxed part and just left the new growth. Now, 2 months later and after regular use, the growth is SPECTACULAR! Please keep making the product. If I had known it was true, I would have taken pictures of me before and after use and sent it to you for your website because many people think the the testimonials are written by the company itself. Anyway, mine is true. Thank a lot.
